First of all, you have to know the exam patterns and syllabus, which is almost the same for all the banking exams whether it’s SBI or IBPS. Even, the syllabus is also the same for bank PO or clerk. Level of questions is the main difference. You can easily get the exam pattern on official notification or to read about the pattern of bank exam.

•  Once you get the understanding of pattern and syllabus, first Clear your basic concept of every topic then solve questions based on that topic because you can’t solve the questions unless you understand the basic concept.
•  After you understand basic concepts, start solving practice sets and analyze them. Analyzing is most important to prepare for bank exams at home.
•  After solving a few practice sets you will know your strengths and the topics on which you need to work more.

 1. Offline tests are waste of time and money as all of the exams are CBT (computer-based test). And don’t waste your precious time on previous year papers because questions and level of exams are increasing every year.

• Generally, you get 2-3 month to prepare after the announcement of official notification. So you have to make proper goals for your topic wise preparation and within a time frame.
• for general awareness read the newspaper on daily basis and make it a habit. Note important points and keep revising it. you have to prepare for the previous 3 month's general awareness. You can get notes online or you can prepare from magazines as well.
